A survey conducted by Nielson research and commission by the Ministry for Primary Industries has shown farmers are more focused on sustainability and the impacts of climate change more than ever. Agriculture Minister Damien O’Connor stated the result was heartening, especially when considering some of the specific actions farmers reported putting into place. Mr O’Connor also stated that it was disappointed that low levels of farmers anticipate focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the next five years.
