A new cereal named Magic Spoon has been released by the co-founders of Exo, the cricket protein bar company. The cereal has high protein, less carbohydrates, no artificial ingredients and a sweetener blend containing monk fruit, stevia and allulose. Gabi Lewis and Greg Sewitz aim to bring back consumers who have turned away from conventional cereals for healthier options. Cereal sales in the U.S dropped 17 percent from 2009 to 2016. Magic Spoon is only available online and one case which contains four 7-ounce boxes is USD$39.99 (approx. NZD$60) plus shipping.
