Ministry for Primary Industries pulled back on its new regulations effectively banning medium-rare meat from restaurants, and has called on chefs to prove to food inspectors they were cooking their menu safely instead. Mr Marler believes New Zealand is behind on the times and doesn’t understand how deadly undercooked meat can be.
