Former Teacher, Libby Bowles has embarked on a pedal-powered mission to teach others to say no to single use plastic. Ms Bowles was making her way around Northland on a bike she made out of bamboo, giving presentations to schools about keeping plastic out of oceans. Ms Bowles said there was a growing global movement to stop the use of single plastic bags. Ms Bowles started her trip on 20 November and planned to cycle all over the country, talking to schools and other groups about plastic.
