The latest GlobalDairyTrade auction recorded a third consecutive increase in prices.  The index price increased by 5.9% to USD3,553 a tonne and it is now at its highest point in four months.  The key whole milk powder price climbed 7.6% and has reached its highest point in eight months.  Volumes sold were down 5% at the auction reflecting the weather conditions around the country.  All products recorded an increase including butter which jumped 7.9%.
